Last week, the media was full of reports on the successful cinematic debut ‘Kiss and Tell’, the latest movie by the duo of Monalisa Chinda and prolific producer, Emem Isong. The movie which was released to the cinema on Friday, July 1, 2011, was reported to be packing the hall and attracting wide patronage.

In its third week at the cinema, Kiss and Tell is still waxing

strong and attracting patronage. Speaking on the success of the movie, Monalisa Chinda, who was elated and not so surprised about the movie’s success at the cinema said, ‘the success of Kiss and Tell so far is not a surprise at all, a lot of work had gone into the movie before we arrived at a finished product, so I think I can say hard work is what is paying off at the cinemas. We also thank God for his blessings’.

The movie, “Kiss and Tell”, which is far from the usual Nollywood movies is directed by Desmond Elliot and features top Nollywood actors like Desmond Elliot, Monalisa Chinda, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Uche Jombo, Joseph Benjamin, Bhaira Mcwizu, Darlene Benson and others.

In ‘Kiss and Tell’, Iyke (Joseph Benjamin), the ultimate player in the game of women runs Blue Quest with his friend Bernard (Desmond Elliot); their friendship however does not apply to their coy. Iyke, who prides himself as the ultimate player per excellence however met his match perhaps more than he bargain for in Delphine (Monalisa Chinda), a divorce lawyer who is a divorcee herself. Iyke is about to lose a bet, a controlling shares of Blue Quest. He has to win or lose all. Though ‘Kiss and Tell’ is still at the cinema, Monalisa is already on set putting finishing touches on a new project.
