Princess Amayo, Make-Up Artist, London

Princess Amayo was already known in the United Kingdom and this was how E4 PR noticed her unusual talent and decided to introduce her to the African market. Princess Amayo joined E4 PR in July 2009 and within three months, she was nominated twice for Best Make-Up Artist at the Nigerian Young Achievers Award (NYAA) and Black Entertainment Fashion Film Television and Arts Award (BEFFTA). E4 PR campaigned tirelessly and Princess Amayo won both trophies as a result, amidst stiff competition. In October 2010, Princess was nominated again for Best Make-Up Artist at the Exquisite Ladies of The Year Awards (ELOY) E4 PR campaigned for her as usual and the ever supporting public voted, helping her emerge winner again.

According to Egor Efiok in one of her interviews about Princess Amayo, "When I started promoting Princess Amayo, I knew everyone would see what I saw...one of the BEST Make-Up Artists in the world, and that is just putting it mildly. The public supported my campaigns and voted for her, helping her emerge winner each time. So as you can see, the public will listen and lend their support when they see true stardom. Princess is first and foremost, a superb artist, which is why her body art and make-up always looks so pretty flawless. I have witnessed Princess Amayo expertly draw the Nigerian map on her lips, amongst various other artistic designs and make-up. I and Princess are very compatible because she understands my artistic mind perfectly. In fact, this can best be described as a twin completing the other's sentence. For instance, I can be saying something like, I want to turn Chioma Akpotha into a rock chic so I need dark make-up, tattoos, and she would finish my sentence by saying, fishnet tights, daisy dukes...etc. Or I can be saying something like, I want to turn Monalisa Chinda into an Arabian Princess so I need a turquoise veil, and she will complete my sentence and say, Herna tattoos on her hands, crystals on her face...and so on. Our union is just a match made in Heaven. I am like a proud mum whenever I talk about Princess Amayo because I can see how my investment in her career has paid off. My Multi Award Winning Make-Up Artist with three trophies to her name!"

Princess Amayo's passion for this form of art started as a young child, as she is also an Artist. Princess would paint and draw everything that looked interesting; e.g. Portraits, Landscapes et al. Growing up, she would create different looks from her make-up palette on family members and she slowly worked herself into designing and customising gadgets and clothes with crystals. By the age of sixteen, her fashion interests had evolved and at eighteen, she attended Barnet College to study HND Fashion Design and Promotion. She was instantly noticed for her immaculate make-up and got an offer to work as the Makeup artist for the end of year fashion show which also featured her collections as a Designer. Through that show, she got a few more offers from various fashion colleges and companies.

These opportunities paved the way for her career as a Professional Make-up Artist. Over the last 12 years, Princess has gone ahead to attain a degree in Professional Communications and PR (BA Hons) from London Metropolitan University; and has mastered the skills and worked throughout the country on movie sets, music videos and runway shows. Her expertise has placed her at the top of her game and gained her a reputation for flawless makeup application. Her work has also been featured in numerous publications and she is a consummate professional whose attention to detail has enabled her to touch many famous faces whilst building a clientele of high profile professionals.

This is Princess Amayo's popular slogan: "I love and breathe makeup..... My inspiration comes from everything that surrounds me. Being able to transform women and putting a smile on her faces makes my job worthwhile."
