Dennis Ometan is the multi talented quintessential Dream TV presenter/host, Event compere, a one on one in-depth interviewer, a script writer, a producer and an occasional actor.
Fondly called Slim Dennis for his slim lanky frame - he is Urhobo from Warri Delta State. Born and bred in the UK, Dennis is a graduate of Cinematography and Film Studies and holds a diploma in Interior Decoration. He is married with 2 children.
Dennis' one outing in Nollywood has been as the writer/producer of the Social awareness and educational film "Felicima one gift" which starred Genevieve Nnaji, Yemi Blaq, Alex Usifo, Ngozi Ezeonu and many others.
Dennis, as well as writing one of Nollywood's most engaging dialogue scripts coupled this with real suspense. He showed in it, his real passion for propagating social change - in this case, the empowerment and equality for the disabled in our society - a value he holds dear to his heart.
Showing his many talents, Dennis also wrote and performed most of the soundtrack to the film including the title song which he dueted with power Jazz singer Yinka Davies of Nigerian Idol judge fame.
Slim Dennis has also worked for Nollywood Movies, the UK cable channel as an in-depth celebrity interviewer delving into the lives and times of stars such as Yemi Blaq and Chioma Akpotha. It was in one of these interviews that a comment was made that Dennis is Nigeria's answer to Pierce Morgan - he gets and draws out the deepest of feelings and heart secrets of the stars.
Dennis Ometan has also compered many corporate and social event; he writes poetry, short plays, is an avid DJ and reader.
