The trailer of a new movie, titled Amina starring Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Van Vicker has been released. Amina was shot in 2011 in various locations across London. The movie was directed by Christian Ashaiku, and it also features Wil Johnson, Vincent Regan, and Alison Carroll. Amina is scheduled to be released in October.
The Story
Amina is a deeply emotional story of loss, love and redemption. It is a story about a fragile young woman, who’s life turns into disarray after an unplanned pregnancy leaves her totally devastated and bewildered.
Unsure and vulnerable, she fights single-handedly to raise an unwanted child, but stumbles and falls at every turn. She sinks deeper into emotional turmoil until she is eventually put in the care of a secure psychiatric institution.
Only one man (her psychiatrist) cares enough to unravel the dark forces surrounding Amina. However, he must first overcome his own demons before he can help Amina confront her tormented past and guide her to finally face her future with hope.
