Chimamanda Adichie Featured By Beyonce in her New Album

No one expected Beyoncé to drop a studio album anytime soon, especially not after announcing 16 new tour dates for her ‘Mrs. Carter World Tour.’ But between hair whips and fierce dance moves, it looks like Bey found time to hit the studio. Her fifth studio album, titled Beyoncé, is now exclusively available for download on iTunes.
It’s described as a visual album. From the tracklist seen on iTunes, it includes 14 track and visuals to go along with each one. And impressively, this is all new material. Collaborations include Jay Z, Kelly Rowland, Frank Ocean, Drake, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Michelle Williams, Justin Timberlake, Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, and Blue Ivy.
While a small clip of a tribal themed “Grown Woman” leaked to the internet over the weekend, it doesn’t look like the same video that’s included on this album. This version includes old footage from the singer’s childhood, but then again, that’s just a preview.
Head over to iTunes and cop the full album. Songs will be available for individual purchase on Dec 20th.

Mike Tyson Banned From Entering The UK Over Rape Conviction

Mike Tyson appears on French television to promote his autobiography Undisputed Truth

Former world heavyweight champion boxer and convicted rapist Mike Tyson says he is “greatly disappointed” to discover he is banned from entering the UK.
Tyson, 47, was due in London this week as part of a promotional tour for his new autobiography Undisputed Truth.
His publishers said recent changes to UK immigration laws meant he was unable to travel to the country and has been re-routed to Paris instead.
Tyson is currently booked in for a British tour for his one-man Broadway show, directed by Spike Lee, which is booked for eight nights in March next year in London, Glasgow and Manchester.
In a statement to the Press Association, Mr Tyson said he was “greatly disappointed” when he learned of the immigration law changes that came into effect last December.
“I have been coming to the UK consistently in the past decade so this change is disheartening since it affects my current entry standing,” he said.
“I apologise to my fans that were inconvenienced, however, please know I am currently working diligently with the proper authorities to regain access next year for my UK tour.”
Tyson said he had a great deal of respect for the UK’s laws and would continue taking the proper steps for re-entry.
A spokesman for Harper Collins said the publishers had been unaware of the law change, which had forced the late change of location to Paris.
Tyson was convicted in 1992 for the rape of a teenage beauty queen, and served three years of a six-year sentence.
He also has convictions for assault, cocaine possession and driving under the influence.
Under the new immigration rules, any person who has been sentenced to more than four years in prison is barred from entering the country.

Determined not to have just a regular ceremony, Kerry revealed that she is keen for her showbiz pal David Gest to officiate the ceremony, and is also hoping to get frozen food specialist Iceland to cater for the nuptials.
She said: 'We're thinking it will be in August and David Gest is going to marry us. The Big Reunion lot will be there and Blue will sing as well as Kevin Simm from Liberty X - he has such an amazing voice.
'Michelle Heaton tweets me, saying, "How's yours cooking? Mine's cooking nicely!" '

'I'll definitely get up with the girls. It would be a great reality show. This is for me, so I'm going out with a bang.'
The 33-year-old star is hoping to get Iceland - who ended their advertising contract with her 2009 after she was revealed to have taken cocaine - to cater at her wedding.
She said: 'I want a big wedding.
'I don't like posh food so I'm going to ask Iceland to do finger food, they do amazing fish, chips and peas - that would be hilarious!'

Beyonce Flashes Her Toned Tummy Amid 22-day Vegan Challenge And Shares A Snap Of Blue Ivy Carter

Beyonce is one full week into her attempt at going vegan for 22 days.
And it seems the singer is feeling good about her health kick; on Tuesday she uploaded a series of bikini-clad snaps for her fans via social media.
The gorgeous 32-year-old also posted a touching snap of herself playing hide-and-seek with daughter Blue Ivy, who turns one in January.
Well, something's working! Beyonce flashed her toned tummy in the second week of the 22-day vegan stint she's undergoing with Jay Z, sharing the evidence on her Tumblr
Well, something's working! Beyonce flashed her toned tummy in the second week of the 22-day vegan stint she's undergoing with Jay Z, sharing the evidence on her Tumblr
In the series of photos, Beyonce poses in tiny white bikini bottoms and gives a nod to her home state in a red Texas football jersey, rolled up under her bra to reveal her flat stomach.
The star's body appears completely flawless in the snaps, with evidence of solidly toned abs in clear view beneath the jersey.
With her highlighted tresses out and flowing in beachy waves and zero makeup on, she shows off her true natural beauty in the candid photos.
Now you see me, now you don't! The 32-year-old superstar also shared a snap of her adorable daughter Blue Ivy Carter

Later, Beyonce got a little kooky and slipped a giraffe hat on her heat to add some obscurity to the mix and perhaps to give a shoutout to the animals she's caring for in her brand new vegan diet.
In another photo, the stunning mother sits on a floor with her daughter Blue Ivy, and giggles as she jokingly hides the little one's face with a large straw cap.
And in yet another snap added to the same series, Beyonce shoots the camera a cute and enigmatic gaze in a black and yellow striped maxi dress, as she stands next to some tropical plants.

The selection of snaps came just one week after Jay Z revealed that he and his wife were inspired by a close friend to give up animal food products until December 25.
The Holy Grail hitmaker wrote on his Life and Times Blog on Tuesday: 'Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way.'
'On December 3, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!'

'This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a plant-based breakfast everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought.'
He added: 'It just feels right! So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress. Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please!
'I don't know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We'll see. P.S. B (Beyonce) is also joining me.'

Kim Kardashian Defends Donating Only 10 Percent Of Proceeds From eBay Auction To Philippines Typhoon Charity

Kim Kardashian has hit back at haters who have criticised her for donating just 10 per cent of her eBay Giving Works auction profits to victims of the recent typhoon in the Philippines.
After stating that 'proceeds will go directly to the communities they’re serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives' on her auction page last week, the 33-year-old was bombarded with comments that she was misleading the public.
Taking to her website on Monday to set the record straight, the reality TV star went to great lengths to defend her charitable donation, slamming her detractors for questioning her.
'I get attacked for giving and trying to help people': Kim Kardashian has lashed out in a blog post on her website after she was criticised for donating just 10 per cent of proceeds from her eBay auction to charity
'I get attacked for giving and trying to help people': Kim Kardashian has lashed out in a blog post on her website after she was criticised for donating just 10 per cent of proceeds from her eBay auction to charity
Edit
'I feel compelled to speak about something that is in my head and my heart,' she began her blog post, which was titled, Giving Comes From The Heart. 'Over the years, I’ve had to grow a thick skin. Being in the public eye, there are times I feel like I get criticized for any and everything I do. I’m used to it now. I just choose not to feed into negativity or become consumed by it.
'The problem comes in when I get attacked for giving and trying to help people.'
The star revealed that her late father, Robert Kardashian, 'always taught me the importance of giving back' and it's a lesson she has kept with her all these years, whether the public is aware of her charitable deeds or not.
'I don’t publicize everything I do to help charities and people all over the world,' she insists. 'I do it because I want to. I do because my dad taught me to. I do it because it’s the right thing to do. So for people to attack me for giving 10% of my eBay auction sales to the people of the Philippines, that hurts.
'It is wrong to mislead the public': Critics jumped to bash the star for her auctions, of which only 10 per cent of profits goes to charity, though Kim insists her heart is in the right place
'It is wrong to mislead the public': Critics jumped to bash the star for her auctions, of which only 10 per cent of profits goes to charity, though Kim insists her heart is in the right place
'I do eBay auctions monthly and change the charity or church from time to time. I give 10% of all my earnings to charities, not just these eBay auctions. This month it’s for the people of the Philippines, last month was Life Change Community Church.'
With the star said to be worth as much as $40 million, certainly 10 per cent of her auction profits doesn't sounds like a hefty sum, though it's a darn sight more than most will ever donate in their lifetime.
But not only does the mom-of-one donate 10 per cent of her eBay auctions to charity, she also donates 10 per cent of her earnings from every single endorsement deal.
'Nobody has to give anything, and yet Kim gives 10 per cent of everything and now she is being judged for it,' her rep states.
'I will continue to do what is in my heart': The generous 33-year-old not only donates 10 per cent of her monthly eBay auction profits but the same amount of every endorsement deal - seen here volunteering with the homeless on Thanksgiving 2011
'I will continue to do what is in my heart': The generous 33-year-old not only donates 10 per cent of her monthly eBay auction profits but the same amount of every endorsement deal - seen here volunteering with the homeless on Thanksgiving 2011
Crisis communications expert Glenn Selig told FOX411 his gripe with the star's actions was that she's drumming up publicity for her auction but not raising the profits going to said charity to a more acceptable percentage.
'When you say something is for the charity, the assumption is much more than 10 per cent goes to charity,' he says. 'And when the charity angle is leveraged to boost bidding or to drum up news coverage, when only 10 per cent goes to charity people likely will be taken. It is wrong to mislead the public.'
The star insists she's not pocketing the remaining 90 per cent of proceeds, with numerous fees going to running the event.
'When the eBay numbers get broken down, the auction management agency that posts for me gets a percentage for all of their hard work, then eBay listing fees, end of auction fees, eBay Store fees, Paypal fees, etc., all add up to about half of the sale. Then I give 10% to a charity,' she writes.
'My dad taught me charity': In December 2010, the reality TV star was joined by best pal Brittny Gastineau (far left) as she paid a visit to the Children's Hospital Of Los Angeles, bringing some Christmas cheer
'My dad taught me charity': In December 2010, the reality TV star was joined by best pal Brittny Gastineau (far left) as she paid a visit to the Children's Hospital Of Los Angeles, bringing some Christmas cheer
'Truth is how the # is broken down, is neither here nor there. The people of the Philippines need all of our help, no matter how big or small.'
Far from letting the latest criticism get her down, Kim is more determined than ever to continue on her path of goodwill.
'Over the last 5+ years, I have listed thousands of items on eBay Giving Works for various causes.
I will continue to do what is in my heart and am happy to know many others have enjoyed purchasing from me, as they too are giving with me,' Kim adds.
'Giving comes from the heart. We all need to be reminded of this as we celebrate the holiday season this year.'

"Just practice walking in the heels. But, I know she will do a great job."
Sosie Bacon delighted at the Nov. 22 Hollywood Press Association Miss Golden Globe bash (WENN)
Kevin, 55, shares Sosie with his wife of 25 years, actress Kyra Segwick.
The Following actor and Kyra are Sosie’s biggest fans and they’ll be cheering her on when the big day comes.

Although she is thrilled, Sosie worries her natural unsteadiness may cause an embarrassing tumble.
"I'm really excited! Very, very excited,” she told E! News previously, adding that she’s “absolutely” scared of falling on her face during the event.
"That's my biggest fear...I'm so bad at walking in heels. Clumsy is an understatement. I trip all the time."

Kylie Jenner Gushes Over Kim Kardashian's Daughter, North: "She's Adorable"!

The Kardashians are always gushing over baby North West and Kylie Jenner has been the latest family member to say how adorable the little one is, saying that she often babysits for sister Kim.
Kylie has said that she is particularly looking forward to spending North's first Christmas with her in a new interview with Now magazine.
"She's adorable," she told the mag. "Kim lives with me, so I'm always around to babysit."
Kylie also spoke out about her plans for 2014.
"I want to do my PacSun fashion stuff with Kendall," she reveals. "But I'd also love to create my own fashion line too and then try acting."
Kylie has gushed over her niece, North (WENN)
Meanwhile, Kylie's sister Khloe recently spoke out about the Kardashian family Christmas plans.
"Christmas is a crazy time, but it's fun. It's controlled chaos!” she told British magazine Closer, noting: "Every Christmas Eve we have a huge party, which Mom's been hosting for 34 years. It's what everyone looks forward to, it's so fun. Everyone dances and Santa comes.
"We all wear matching pyjamas. Every year my mom gives them to us the night before, after our party."
Khloe confesses she does believe the brood goes overboard on presents from time to time. Despite this the star is planning on giving her newest niece, North, the most special gift she can find.
“It's like presents galore, but it gets out of control. Last year, we were saying we've got to tone it down,” she explained. "I'm going to buy North an ID bracelet, because that was my first piece of jewellery, so it's really special."
It is unknown whether Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom will be in attendance at the Kardashian Christmas celebrations, as it is rumoured the pair’s marriage is in jeopardy.

Nigeria's Akinwumi Adesina Named Forbes African Of The Year

Nigerian Agriculture Minister Akinwumi Adesina (file photo)

Nigerian Agriculture Minister Akinwumi Adesina has been named Forbes African of the Year for his reforms to the country's farming sector.
"He is a man on a mission to help Africa feed itself," said Forbes Africa editor Chris Bishop.
Analysts say Nigeria's economy has long been dominated by oil, while agriculture has been ignored, even though it supports far more people.
Mr Adesina said he wanted to help people become rich through farming.
"My goal is to make as many millionaires, maybe even billionaires, from agriculture as possible," he said in his acceptance speech.
Aliyu Tanko from BBC Hausa says Mr Adesina has introduced more transparency into the supply and distribution of fertiliser, which had previously been marred by massive corruption.
A farmer carries a bunch of cassava roots in Nigeria's Osun State on 26 August 2010Most Nigerians still live in poverty, especially in rural areas
The minister has also urged Nigerians to grow more food crops, especially cassava.
In January, Mr Adesina announced a scheme to hand out 10 million mobile phones to farmers to "drive an agriculture revolution" so they can find out the latest market information.
The phones are also used to get vouchers for seeds and fertiliser.
However, our correspondent says this goal has not yet been achieved, noting there is no mobile network coverage in many rural areas.
The main opposition party criticised the scheme as a "mischievous vote-catching exercise".
Mr Adesina was chosen ahead of some of Africa's most prominent businesspeople: Aliko Dangote and Jim Ovia, also from Nigeria; South Africa's Patrice Motsepe; and Zimbabwe's Strive Masiyiwa.
Although their country is one of the world's biggest oil exporters, most Nigerians live in poverty, especially in rural areas.
Mr Bishop said he hoped the award would "encourage the rest of the continent to grow more of its own food".
