Mavin's First Lady, Tiwa Savage, Tells Toolz In An Exclusive Interview, "I can never replace Dbanj". (See Video)
Toolz gets an exclusive interview with the First Lady of Mavin, Tiwa Savage, popularly know for her hit single, “Kele Kele Love”.
Tiwa debunks the theory that she is D’banj’s replacement, stating that there is no way she can replace D’banj, She explains that Don Jazzy never had the intention of replacing D’banj because nobody can be like D’banj. She mentioned that she is just an extra, bringing the swag and sexy twist to the group.
She talks about her busy schedule in the past couple of months and how she became the First Lady of Mavin records. She talks about her reservations about releasing an album as well, but later confirms that she will be releasing an album by the the end of the month and has just 6 tracks left to record on it.
Tiwa’s dress style was influenced by the likes of Beyonce and moving back to Nigeria from L.A was a bit of a culture shock, but she has learnt to blend the different cultures to attract a wider range of fans. Watch the video below.
