When Justin Bieber arrived in the UK last week to promote new album 'Believe' he was met with hoards of screaming girls who whipped themselves up into a frenzy as they waited outside his Kensington High Street hotel just to get a glimpse.
Indeed, fans of the the teenage heartthrob were so desperate to attract their beloved star that within three hours of him arriving in London his new fragrance for women, called Someday, had completely sold out.
The spike in sales came as the fragrance, described as 'playful, fresh yet flirty and anything but ordinary' was said to have been deemed 'irresistible' by the star himself.
The Fragrance Shop, who rushed to restock the scent, said that in the days surrounding the star's visit to the UK, they saw a record breaking rise in sales of a massive 500 per cent.
Spokesperson for the brand Daniel Thompson said: 'Someday has been in our top 10 best selling celebrity fragrances for some weeks but we never envisaged the effect that Justin Bieber arriving in the UK would have on sales'.
