Our girlfriend in our heads, Tracee Ellis Ross, covers the September 2011 issue of Essence magazine. The actress dishes on her new show Reed Between The Lines, (co-starring Malcolm Jamal Warner), her personal transformation during Girlfriends, her love for all things fashion and lessons she learned from her superstar mom, Diana Ross.
She tells the mag: “On ‘Girlfriends’ I had become a woman, but it wasn’t until three or four years later that I really began to embody who I had become.”
