Egor Efiok, the CEO of E4 PR and manager/publicist to stars like Desmond Elliot, Monalisa Chinda, Chioma Akpotha, Nse Ikpe-Etim, amongst others, introduces her latest star, Britain's Biggest Biceps title holder and movie star, TINY IRON.
Tiny Iron is a British born star of Ghanaian parentage. Although Tiny is a big star in Europe, he has never been to his motherland, Ghana, and this is one of his current ambitions.
Born Andrew Harrison, The name Tiny Iron, was formed as a
result of Americans calling him ‘Tiny’ when he used to bodyguard
there; also, a lot of people that he has met keep saying to him, "damn look at your arms, they’re hard as iron".
Tiny's acting career began when he was working in a night club in Mayfair back in 2004 and some trouble escalated in the club. Tiny dealt with the altercation and Vinnie Jones who witnessed the incident, approached Tiny and said, “fancy being in a movie mate”? Tiny then responded “hell yeah”! And the rest as they say, is history.
Tiny has featured in a number of films alongside an impressive cast of actors such as the likes of 50 Cents, Tamer Hassan, Pat Morita, Danny Dyer and Vinny Jones, to name a few. Tiny's unique appearance and acting capabilities have earned him a product endorsement/sponsorship deal with the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and also the second biggest sportswear manufacturer in the world, Adidas.
Tiny was also the ONLY BRIT to be short listed for the role of B.A. Baracus in the movie, 'The A -Team'. Tiny featured in 50 Cents' music video, Hustler's Ambition, and was the face of the G-Unit Reebok advert,
On the 21st of July 2009, Tiny was crowned as being the holder of Britain's Biggest Biceps, at 24 inches! Tiny arrived to the 'crowning' equipped with the Original 'A Team' van. This announcement attracted press attendance from a number of publications such as The Daily Mirror, The Sun, The London Paper, The Voice (to name a few) as well as two of the largest photo agencies in the world - Getty Images and Wireimage! This type of media attraction has firmly catapulted Tiny on route to 'A-List' status.
Tiny has made appearances to a number of high profile events and wrestling shows in Europe and the U.S.A. and has his own bobblehead action doll figures and toy games to boast of, which are rivaling those of The Incredible Hulk!
Tiny starred in the movie, Dead Man Running, alongside 50 Cent and Tamer Hassan, which made waves in cinemas nationwide. The film premier took place on the 22nd of October, 2009 at The Odeon Cinema, Leicester Square. Tiny was joined on the red carpet by a number of celebrities including Mel B, Goldie, Jamelia, as well as members of the cast such as 50 Cent and Danny Dyer.
Tiny also hosted his own comedy hip hop show on BBC and currently has a Bollywood movie coming out soon. In addition, Tiny heads a star football programme for charity, won by the premiership football players. They go to inner city estates and have football competitions; all the money goes to charity.
As someone who is very much involved in charities, Tiny's current aim is to be the face of Domestic Violence in Africa. Contrary to popular insinuations about well built, muscular men, Tiny Iron is actually on the contrary, a big softie teddy bear that cannot bear the thought of women being bullied. His popular slogan is, "you wanna hit a woman? then come hit me in the boxing ring"! Tiny Iron also famously dated R&B star, Rihanna, shortly after her highly publicised physical abuse by ex boyfriend Chris Brown. He said to me, "Egor, i just wanted to protect her all the time. I mean, how can someone that big hit such a beautiful fragile lady like that"?! Tiny believes that being a man, coupled with his intimidating build, can serve as a deterrent against domestic violence.
