Pope Francis Shows One Love By Washing & Kissing The Feet Of 12 Young Prisoners Which Included 2 Young Ladies And 2 Muslims (See Photo & Video)

Pope Francis has washed and kissed the feet of 12 detainees in a youth detention centre near Rome as part of the Maundy Thursday service. The Christian ritual takes place on the Thursday before Easter to commemorate Christ’s Last Supper.

Thousands of pilgrims and tourists are arriving in Rome to attend ceremonies during the holy week ahead of Easter. In a homily, Pope Francis earlier urged priests to do less “soul-searching” and engage more with parishioners.

“It is not in soul-searching… that we encounter the Lord,” the Pope told hundreds of cardinals, priests and bishops in St Peter’s Basilica.

“We need to go out… to the outskirts where there is suffering, bloodshed, blindness that longs for sight and prisoners in thrall to many evil masters.” Worshipers should “leave Mass looking as if they had heard good news”, he added.

And on Easter Sunday morning, Pope Francis will deliver his first “Urbi et Orbi” message to the city of Rome and to the world.

I really like Pope Francis and this isn't the first time he is doing this. I read somewhere that he has also washed and kissed the feet of AIDS patients and this was long before he was appointed Pope. God bless you Pope Francis, your humility is endearing. Please watch the video below.

Chris Brown Shows Off His Painting N' Graffiti Skills As He Spray Paints Mural

Chris Brown is an artiste, and not just in the recording studio.

In addition to being a Grammy winner, he's also a painter!

Armed with cans of spray paint, the R&B star absolutely went to town on the side of a building in Miami - with permission of course - and it was awesome.

Photographers snapped pictures as Brown tagged the wall, and we have to say, the man's got some serious skills when it comes to art as well as music.

Ungrateful "Monster Son" Jailed For Life Without Parole For Murdering Parents For His £230,000 Inheritance Which He Was Too Impatient To Wait For.

A man who killed his parents to get his hands on a £230,000 inheritance has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 40 years.

Stephen Seddon was told he would never be paroled after being convicted of the murders of his father Robert, 68, and mother Patricia, 65 - and their attempted murders four months earlier.

They had made the 46-year-old the sole beneficiary of their estate in their will - and paid with their lives.

They had already gifted Seddon £40,000 in cash and bought him his home in Benevente Street in Seaham, Co Durham.

During the trial, prosecutor Peter Wright described Seddon as the ultimate "ungrateful son".

The convicted fraudster, who was said to have had an "insatiable thirst for cash", had tried to kill the elderly couple by driving into the Bridgewater Canal in Timperley, south Manchester, with them strapped in the back seats in a faked road accident.

Seddon then "played the hero" and boasted of his rescue attempts after he was forced to abort his murder plan when bystanders went to their aid in the submerged hired BMW.

He had taken his parents - and his disabled nephew Daniel, who also managed to get to safety - out on March 20 last year on the pretext of a surprise belated Mother's Day meal.

Undeterred, on July 4 of that year he shot his parents dead with a sawn-off shotgun at their home in Clough Avenue in Sale, Greater Manchester.

Seddon had taken three shotgun cartridges with him. Police believe he also intended to kill his nephew, who he did not realise was in respite care that day.

Mr Justice Hamblen told him: "In effect you have executed your own parents. You have done so by the barbaric act of shooting them at point- blank range with a sawn-off shotgun."

He added: "One can only imagine the horror of your parents' last moments in this life, when they realised what a monster their son, whom they loved, had become. Mercifully their deaths were swift."

He went on to say that, in Seddon's case, life should mean life and he ordered that he serve a whole-life term - which means the father-of-three will never be released.

Seddon had denied the shooting and said it was "ridiculous" to claim he had tried to kill his own mother and father and "sick" to suggest he had intended to murder his nephew as well.

As he was sentenced, Seddon continued to protest his innocence, shouting from the dock: "No, not at all, they were not murdered by me at all. I'm an innocent man."

Oscar Pistorius Granted Permission To Leave South Africa To Compete In International Competitions

Paralympian murderer Oscar Pistorius, who is charged with murdering his girlfriend, has won an appeal over his bail restrictions, permitting him to leave South Africa to compete in international competitions, with conditions.

He must also return his passport to the court within 24 hours of returning to South Africa.

His lawyers told the North Guateng High Court that while the Olympic and Paralympic athlete had no immediate plans to compete, he might in time need to run at track meets again to continue earning a living.

Judge Bert Bam agreed to ease Pistorius' bail restrictions, but said he must provide authorities with his travel plans at least a week before he leaves the country.

He must also return his passport to the court within 24 hours of returning to South Africa.

Sad, but I think we have another O.J. Simpson on our hands here. Oscar Pistorius is already a free man, despite murdering his girlfriend in cold blood, with evidence even more glaring than in the case of O.J. Simpson's! Smh!

Turning Point Releases Fourth Behind-the-Scenes Webisode –

“Family Breakfast”

For Immediate Release

London, 28 March 2013.

As we get ready to enjoy a long weekend and family breakfasts, HekCentrik Films brings the fourth webisode from the set of critically acclaimed Hollywood/Nollywood co-production Turning Point, “Family Breakfast”.

Due for Nigerian release in May and up for two AMAA Awards next month in Best Film by an African Abroad and Best Supporting Actress (Patience Ozokwor), Turning Point by London-based Nigerian filmmaker Niyi Towolawi is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.

Webisode 4 titled “Family Breakfast” documents the making of is one of the key scenes in the film playing out some of the pivotal conflicts of the plot, inter-cultural prejudice and dynamics between people of colour from different ethnicities.

We also get to hear what Cynda Williams (Dede), KD Aubert (Stacy), Igoni Archibong (Ade), Gerald Yelverton (Jason) have got to say on these issues as well as the filming of this scene.

In the run up to the Nigeria premiere, and following the success of the world premiere attended by leading cast from Hollywood and Nollywood at London IndigO2, the 10-part behind-the-scenes webisodes aim to document the cast and crew’s relentless work across two continents – America and Africa – to bring to life this exciting Hollywood/Nollywood co-production.

A compelling story of ethnic prejudice, blurred moral lines, revenge and redemption, Turning Point follows the rise and fall of Ade (Igoni Archibong), Nigerian-American New York City investment banker who is in a relationship with keen-to-marry African-American Stacey (KD Aubert) but is forced into an arranged marriage to seemingly submissive Grace (Jackie Appiah) by his controlling mother (Patience Ozokwor).

With a star studded cast bringing together Hollywood heavyweights Ernie Hudson best known for his roles as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters film series, Sergeant Albrecht in The Crow and Warden Leo Glynn in Oz, Todd Bridges of Diff’rent Strokes fame, Victoria’s Secret model and actress from Scorpion King, Friday After Next and Soul Plane, KD Aubert, and Joe Estevez with Nollywood’s noted actress Patience Ozokwor (Mama Gee) also known as Mother Africa, Ghana’s celebrated actress Jackie Appiah, Nigerian actress of Blackberry Babes fame Oge Okoye, Turning Point turns into reality what was once a dream of a partnership between the world’s two largest film industries, Hollywood and Nollywood.
