Beckham went on to say that while the referees might not appreciate his presence, the other dads enjoy having him around and that sometimes he helps coach the kids. He's shown that he takes after Alex Ferguson, his old manager at Manchester United, in questioning referee decisions, but it seems he draws the line at giving the kids Fergie's hairdryer treatment.

Whitney Houston's daughter has been taken to the hospital just hours after her mother was found dead in a hotel bathroom.


Bobbi Kristina, 18, was rushed out of the Beverly Hilton on a stretcher, according to TMZ, after learning of the devastating news.


It comes as the first picture emerged today of Whitney Houston's on-off boyfriend Ray-J leaving the hotel with his head in his hands, completely distraught.


Miss Houston drowned alone in a bathtub having accidentally overdosed on a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol after two back-to-back evenings of out-of-control binges, it has been claimed.


The star was found dead under the water by her bodyguard in a luxury hotel suite said to have been littered with bottles of prescription pills. She was 48.

Ray-J mentioned 'missed calls' from Miss Houston, according to the International Business Times, adding: 'We all gotta live with that.'


Paramedics battled to revive the singer but she was pronounced dead at 3.55pm yesterday afternoon, hours before she had been due to perform at a pre-Grammys party at the Beverly Hills Hilton in LA.

At first it was thought that Ray-J had found Miss Houston's body but a statement was later released by his spokesman saying 'he was nowhere near the scene but no less distraught'.


According to reports on gather.com moments before the news broke, Ray-J was seen trying to console Bobbi Kristina, who was screaming, in the lobby of the hotel.


The singer/reality TV star and Whitney Houston dated between 2007 and 2009 but it was believed they had recently picked up their romance after being spotted at an LA restaurant.

Honest, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the tweet below (after the cut) from Lynxxx, whilst giving him the thumbs up sign at the same time. In an unprovoked attack, the evil bully tweeted at Lynxxx, "Why can't God jus take Davido, Vic O or Lynxx dey r jus weist!!! Takin all d gud ppl" and the musician hit back, "Ur offspring's r weists! Stupid cow". Lmao!!! I too gbadun dis guy jor. 


Previously it was Tiwa Savage that was insulted and she also gave back in full measure to the attacker who called her ugly. Good on you girl!


As for Rihanna, they have long stopped trying her cos she no just send anybody (a.k.a. she doesn't give a s**t) and always abuses them right back!


I am glad that celebrities are beginning to stick up for themselves when they are harassed by cowardly bullies. It is annoying when they are expected to keep quiet all the time as if they are not human. They generally ignore haters most of the time, but if they don't stick up for themselves sometimes, then these bullies wouldn't know where to draw the line.


Most of these cowardly bullies are envious total waste of spaces that do not appreciate hard work and I feel sorry for people like that cos people that wish others bad never progress in life. How can you just randomly and in an unprovoked attack, tweet someone that is working hard to entertain you, and wish them dead, call them "weist", ugly, etc? Is that normal? That is just pure EVIL! And to the loser that insulted Lynxxx and his colleagues, you know, God may just decide to show you that you are the "weist" (waste) and answer your prayer upside down (turn the bullet towards you) and you would only be getting what you wished on others while they remain blessed and unscathed; so be very careful what you utter and even more importantly, do not insult God by calling His name in your envious attacks!


As I keep saying, celebrities work hard to keep the public entertained and it is okay not to like them, but please respect their hard work and don't insult them. They have done nothing to you, so please let them be. SMH...

Legendary pop singer Whitney Houston was found dead on Saturday at a Beverly Hills, California, hotel, officials said. She was 48.

The entertainer, whose incredible talent was discovered at an early age, was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. (6:55 p.m. ET) at the Beverly Hilton hotel despite resuscitation efforts, a police spokesman said.

Beverly Hills Police Lt. Mark Rosen said there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent" and that the cause of her death is being investigated.

Houston's bodyguard found her body, said Courtney Barnes, publicist for hip-hop artist Ray J, who was dating the pop diva. Read more here: CNN

Jay-Z also included a message with the photos, which read, “We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives!! The Carter Family.”

Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy on January 8, 2012 at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

Sokoto State Shocker: Sheep Gives Birth To Half Human!!!

A sheep gave birth to a monstrous being on 22 January, 2012, at Fakon Idi Veterinary Clinic in Sokoto State.

Surgeons, who decided to operate on the sheep after it developed complications during labour, were shocked out of their wits by the scary sight of the creature that confronted them, which also looked half human.

Garba Aminu, a commercial motorcycle rider, averred:

“This is an abomination in our land. To see a sheep give birth to a half human being is a mystery and that shows how terrible some people are. It is unimaginable that some people will be having sexual intercourse with animals.”

Another onlooker, who simply gave his name as Danladi, wondered how such a development could have happened in a morally upright state like Sokoto, where the Islamic faith is so deep.

Domestic Violence Cover Up In Enugu State, Nigeria, Involving The Death Of A Pregnant Woman, Exposed!

This sad incident took place recently in Enugu State, Nigeria. Attorney Ike Melchyesedech Ezekwu Sr, who has been in communication with various victims of domestic violence in Enugu as well as other parts of Nigeria, has requested for his email below to be published.

My dear friends,

I come before you humble, with my head bowed and on bended knees. Today, my heart is heavy and my anguish is unimaginable. Like the biblical Rachael weeping for the death of her children, I have refused to be consoled.

On Monday, I received a call from Nigeria from a friend about Ms Nkechi Ngene [maiden name]. Ms Ngene was 8 months pregnant, an unemployed mother of two minor children, and the wife of a man, that is known to his friends as Chico Chime- a motor cycle spare part dealer in Enugu. Both reside in Enugu GRA and are from Akwuke Autonomous Community [Nkanu] in Enugu South LGA of Enugu State. On January 31, 2012, she confronted her husband about his incessant infidelity, and he responded by beating the crap out of her. Ms Ngene sustained various bruises, but worst was that she began to bleed profusely and uncontrollably. The unkindest cut of all was that her husband left her to die.

Abandoned on the cold floor helpless, in the full glare of their children, and life slowly but painfully slipping away from her, with her last breath she called a friend. She was rushed to the nearest hospital and after two days of spirited medical help, she died as well as her unborn child.

Like most cowards, her husband has since gone into hiding, abandoning their minor children to the mercy of friends and family. The matter was first reported to Ogui Police Station, but referred to New Haven Police, the appropriate police station.

The matter has since been reported to the police and the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria [NHRCN] -Enugu Office. However, I have also been informed that some so called big shots from Akwuke community and Enugu South LGA Chairman's Office are bringing pressure to bear on the Police and NHRCH-Enugu to drop their investigation!!!, so that the issue [double homicide] will be handled as a “family affair”.

It is against this background that i have come to you for assistance. Please re-post this message; contact the Nigeria Bar Association; Association of Women Lawyers and any Non-Governmental-Organization, the Commissioner of Police-Enugu State [Nigeria], National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria and any one that offers assistance on this matter. Ms Nkechi Ngene and her unborn child must not Die in Vain!!! Let us make a difference in another person's life by breaking this CULTURE OF SILENCE.

Many Nigerian and African women have died in silence. Domestic Violence is now a silent killer in our homes and lives. This is the time to take a stand and proclaim: NEVER AGAIN!

Let us honor Nkechi Ngene and her unborn child by our actions, and we must not allow members of the Akwueke Community nor those at the Enugu South LGA to sweep this matter under the rug. Double homicide is not a “family affair”, rather a CRIME.

It is my fervent wish that this matter will be given the urgency that it deserves. When evil men/women conspire, good men/women MUST congregate. The time for action is now! for the die is cast!

Now that this appeal has been made, the mercy of sleep which has long been denied me, can now be restored. That is my wish; that is my strength, and this is my consolation!

 E4 PR is pleased to introduce to you, Royal Arts Academy's new TV Soap Opera, Catwalq, which was created and produced by our very own sexy Monalisa Chinda and Emem Isong; and directed by our talented Desmond Elliott.

The star-studded launch of Catwalq which took place on the 1st of February, 2012 at Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, received rave reviews.

Catwalq is a 26 episode Soap Opera about three ladies- Kima, Paris and Wange, who are also friends and business partners that run a glamorous fashion magazine together. The soap, which is also full of humour, drama, intrigue and betrayal, explores the love lives of these ladies, relationships and work in the dazzling and exciting world of high fashion.

The cast include: Monalisa Chinda, Memry Savanhu, Joy Scrase, Susan Peters, Uru Eke, Keneth Okolie, Imeh Bishop Umoh, Gbenga Titiloye, amongst others.

Stay glued to your TV screens, as Catwalq will be unleashed very soon. As for me, i am so excited and will be waiting with bated breath! *doing the azonto dance* ;) :D

Ebo Element - Whispers (Exclusive: Check this out...very cool)

E4 PR Exclusive:

I am still not over Bez's "That Stupid Song" and now Ebo Element have also had me transfixed with their wikid mix of instrumentals and soul music. I'm really lovin' the talented duo and give them my full support. I like anything that is different. Their genre of music has this chill out n' cool vibe about it that makes me feel like i'm listening to Kenny G and Tracy Chapman merged together. 

Having said that, Ebo Element are quite versatile as well and are currently working on a 12 track album of different styles that are danced based. As Opubo says, "there will be something for everyone". Hmmm...can't wait!

Check out "Whispers" below, which was sent to me as a sample to listen to. Although unfinished, i just couldn't help sharing; and remember...you heard it here first. Hehehe!

PROFILE:

The group EBO ELEMENT was formed in February 2011 as an experimental venture between Opubo Robert Braide and Colleen Candice Kressin, with the vision of creating a beat driven sound containing elements of Afro-house combined with West-African undertones and crossing all genres of music.

The name EBO ELEMENT was coined out from the Nigerian (Calabar) slang “EBO” which means dance, and the English word “ELEMENT”.

The duo are currently working on their debut album, and are set to release their first single “WHISPERS”. The idea of the song “Whispers” was inspired by the current challenges faced by the people of Blikkiesdorp in Cape Town. The aim is to bring about transformation in this area by supporting the foundation “Blikkiesdorp 4 Hope Projects”.

COLLEEN KRESSIN aka MEEKA

Colleen Kressin, a South African songwriter/singer, started singing at a tender age. At the age of fourteen she won a talent competition and Rebecca Malope, the famous South African Gospel Artist, was one of the judges. The prize was a week’s free recording time at CCP/EMI Recording Studios in Johannesburg. 

In 1994 she won the H.O.P.E. (“Help Our People Excel”) award for ‘most promising performer’.

Colleen released her debut album “Will I ever stop loving you” under the name, Meeka, in 1999. Her first single “The funkiness of you” reached No. 1 on various radio stations nationwide and so did the second single “Will I ever stop loving you”. It earned her a nomination at the South African Music Awards. 

Colleen performed locally and internationally, gracing stages with internationally established artists. Her delivery is

soulful with sultry jazzy influences.

BRAIDE OPUBO aka BRAIDEO!

Braide Opubo is a Nigerian music producer/musician, whose repertoire includes movie soundtracks, contemporary African pop, jazz, reggae, classical and traditional genres.

He founded a group called “THE MEMORIES“ which functioned as a band, touring Nigeria from 1990 to 2002. For 4 yrs as a collective, they ran a successful live music venue at the Old Residency Museum, a listed National Historic site which was home to Nigeria’s first colonial Government, and they took on the role of show promoters for several years.

Opubo has won several awards, including the Jimmy Carter award in 1989, and in 2006 Opubo emerged winner of the Creative Academii, a talent focused reality show.

His first single titled Scata My dada is a fuse of Nigerian Pigin and English and basically talks about the blessings of God. Depicts that he is not perfect, but God keeps blessing him.

Nigerian soul-jazz artiste, Bez, made history as the first African, whose video made a world premiere on BET’s 106 & Park on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Bez, who recently shot the video to ‘That stupid song’ which features fast rising R&B singer Praiz, has already received a few video spins on BET International along with Nigerian pop singer, Wizkid.

The video was directed by Clarence Peters.

Signed to CAMP (Cobhmas Asuquo Music Production), Bez released his debut work ‘Super Sun’ late last year to positive reviews.

‘We sent the final edit of the music video to a contact at the Programming and Production department of BET Network, they reached out to us at Cobhams Asuquo Music Productions to find out if we would consider airing the video on both BET International and CENTRIC (local U.S. television). I am so loving this song and you can almost feel the merged talents oozing from it, but then again, this is hardly surprising, coming from a Cobhams Asuquo production. I like the fact also that the song is different from the usual 9ja beats that we are so accustomed to hearing. It has a Musiq Soulchild/D'Angelo/John Legend/Mo'town kinda chill out vibe about it, coupled with the Naija mix. I think i get what it's all about and the "stupid songs" had me in stitches as i went down memory lane. I can't believe i also heard "Timbo Timbo Bas Calabar"! Lmao! Well done guys. Way to go!!!

Oge Okoye is very beautiful, confident, laid back and down to earth; and these traits of hers emanate from within. The way she has boldly rocked this bald hairstyle from the start says it all. I have never seen Oge wear a wig since she shaved her hair off last December and marvel at how how beautiful she looks bald, even when she is just relaxing at home without make-up. With Oge, i can truly say that what you see is what you get. There is nothing fake or pretentious about this chicka. She rocks big time!

Calabar In Shock As Fake Doctor Who Worked In The General Hospital For Over A Year Gets Nabbed

The Cross River State Police Command has arrested a fake medical doctor, who worked with the name, Dr. Collins Okafor, at the General Hospital in Calabar, the state capital.

The suspect, whose real name is Mr. Simeon Kejohu (34 yrs, pictured above), was said to have used the certificate of a medical practitioner to secure employment with the Cross River State Ministry of Health and worked in the hospital for one and half years before his true identity was discovered.

A source at the hospital, who is a senior health personnel, said the suspect’s identity became suspicious when all the medical doctors in the hospital were compulsorily made to register online as directed by the Medical Advisory Council. According to her, “Medical doctors were recently requested to register on-line and as one of the doctors in the hospital, Dr. Collins Okafor, had no choice but to register. When he did, they found out that the certificate he presented was conflicting with that of another medical doctor from Abia State. On further interrogation, it was discovered that he (the suspect) is a health technologist, who impersonated a medical doctor. That was how the police were invited to take over the case.”

Corroborating the position of the source, the Officer-in-Charge of the Cross River State Intelligence Bureau, Mr. Habu Sani, said, “We got the information that there was a fake medical doctor in the hospital and commenced investigation immediately. When we went to his office, there were no incriminating documents but by the time we searched his house, we discovered some documents which clearly explained how he was able to carry out the assignment through forgery. We found in his house the document of one Dr. Collins Okafor, we now made contacts with the Medical Advisory Council in Abuja and they told us that two people had registered bearing the same name and therefore advised us to hold the person we had picked.”

Sani, a Chief Superintendent of Police, said that prior to working at the General Hospital in Calabar, Kejohu confessed that he had worked in a private hospital in Abuja where he established a contact with a doctor who assisted him in securing employment with the Cross River State Ministry of Health as an indigene of the state.

He added that a team from the Medical Advisory Council in Abuja had come to Calabar to give useful statement, adding that enough proof had been established against the suspect, who is from Obudu in Obanliku Local Government Area of the state.

Sani further explained, “The other aspect we are still trying to verify is whether the real Dr. Collins Okafor is still alive or dead. We are also going to investigate how government was able to employ someone without the knowledge of how to manage people’s lives. He worked as a medical doctor from October 1, 2010 to January 2012. We have called the team leader of the Residency Committee that interviewed him; we are still compiling their records to see who recommended him for employment. This issue is serious because it is something that affects human lives. We will go through the investigation and point out where all the lapses are to the government because we do not know how many of such people will be in government employ.”

Speaking with Metro, Kejohu, who was looking sober, said his friend (Dr. Collins Okafor) gave him the certificate in the presence of his parents (Collins’) before he died four years ago. He said, “Before Dr. Collins Okafor died, he called me by his sick bed as his best friend and said he would give me his certificate, which he did in the presence of his family. I studied at the School of Health Technology in Benue State. I have worked for over one year at the General Hospital in Calabar but never handled any surgery.”

The source said before Kejohu was nabbed, some medical personnel in the hospital had doubted his credibility because of his inability to carry out some critical functions expected of a doctor. The source added that the fake doctor had on a number of times given wrong prescriptions to patients, adding that his prescriptions had been faulted by other medical doctors and nurses at different times. “The worst is that he had always evaded anything that has to do with surgery over the time. Recently, a woman with ectopic pregnancy lost her life because the suspect was not competent to handle her situation and he also did not inform his other colleagues until the woman died,” she said.

Hmmm...from October 1, 2010 to January 2012? How was he able to work undetected for so long? SMH...
