Nigeria: National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Announce The Sinking Of A Wooden Boat Carrying 166 Passengers From Oron To Gabon - Only 2 People Survived
A wooden boat carrying 166 people from South-eastern Nigeria capsized about 40 nautical miles off the coast, with only two known survivors, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said yesterday.
The boat left last Friday from the remote town of Oron, in Akwa Ibom State and was heading to Gabon. David Akate, head of NEMA in Cross River State, confirmed the incident.
How sad :( :(
