Subsequent to rumors flying about that Shirish Kunder was asked to leave the production team of Sajid Nadiawala’s Kick, Khan took to twitter to come to Kunder's defence with the following tweet “No that’s nt true . shirish left the film . He is working on sm thing else . Ho gaya clear ? Good ! Challo bye . Take care guys.”
After that Kunder clarified further stating “Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing KICK. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life.”
