Looking good and stylish just got easier, simpler and even more affordable as one of the most talked about and patronised fashion stores in Lagos, The Wardrobe, adds a new plus size women’s range, Big and Beautiful alongside the regular offering.

Situated in the heart of Allen Avenue, Ikeja, The Wardrobe is gradually becoming the fashion refuge for many fashionable Nigerians and indeed foreigners as the clothing store boasts of high quality clothing at reasonable prices
With a factory located in Ikorodu on the outskirt of Lagos, and partnering with other garment factories internationally, The Wardrobe is able to do away with the services of the middlemen who make most clothing items more expensive.
Owned by Towun Awofeso, an industrial chemist turned garment technologist in a bid to follow her lifelong dream of making cloths people can buy at affordable rates, the London College of Fashion trained proprietor liaises with clothing factories in the U.S, Turkey, Hong Kong and the UK. Many celebrities have now made The Wardrobe a haven of some sort as they are regularly seen there.
The Wardrobe is widely known as the Groom’s Place, the Lady of The Wardrobe, Towun Awofeso while having a chat with reporters said, ‘’Sincerely speaking, I have always heard about the bridal this or bridal that, nobody really focuses on the groom and his needs, so I decided to explore this area of interest, that is why if you get to our flagship store on Allen, it seems we focus more on Groom’s Place, but we are not only about the grooms as we also cater for the female needs too.”
Towun Awofeso also commented on the reason why some of her products are relatively affordable, ‘’At The Wardrobe, because we are Designers, we are able to work directly with factories on our own specifications rather than do buying and selling which make clothing items expensive. We also have our own clothing label called Crownprid, aside all these, we offer our customers after sale services also such as alterations, buttons replacement and there are warranties on all of our products sold’’.
