FREDY BLOO
Born Alfred Etta Okon, Fredy Bloo (stage name), the last born (he has two elder brothers) of Engineer and Mrs Dave Okon, is of Efik descent and was raised as a staunch Christian, with good moral standards. Fredy is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State, Nigeria. He is a unique musical artiste, writer and composer, with the voice and attitude to back it up.

EARLY LIFE
Fredy's love for music was developed at a very early age, growing up and listening to the likes of Dolly Parton, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Michael Bolton, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Evy Edna Ogoli, R.Kelly, Plantashun Boiz and a whole lot of talented musical artists.

INFLUENCE
Fredy joined the church choir in 1995 and ther he developed his skills on the drums, recorder and the piano. From there he joined the school choir in 1996 under Mr. Osifalujo. He sang two musical solos at the Carols of the school in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He later became the "Chief Tenor Singer" and the president of the "Music Club" in 2001. He was also given the award for the "Best Singer" male category (2001) in the school at the Press Club Awards Night, held yearly at the school.
While studying in University, Fredy teamed up with his buddy and producer, Robert "Papi" Ogosu and Omoefe "G.Ice" Gbagi, to form SATURNS RECORDS" (Saturns meaning: Setting A Trend U Rappers Need See) in 2004. Initially starting his professional career as a rapper, Fredy later reverted back to his first love, singing, on the advice of his big brother and mentor, Michael Okon a.k.a Micky J ( of MVP records).

After leaving school, the crew went on the low and Fredy joined forces with his brother, Micky J, and Micky's childhood friend, Yinka Oladele, and together, they formed the O3 musical group. After a while, the group became defunct after recording two singles  produced by J. Martins, which were never released.

Refusing to give up, Fredy hit the studio, and has been writing and recording soundtracks for movies, the current being Out Of Jail, whilst waiting for that impending big break that he is believing God for.

Talented and full of zest, Fredy is truly ready to storm the R'n'B/Soul and Afro Pop scene. An ardent believer in God, His words and principles, Fredy believes in the exclusive right for all humans to be free, happy and loved.
