Jack Hill, 11-Year-Old DJ Sets World Record For Mixing 10 Songs Within 60 Seconds
As the world's youngest DJ, 11-year-old Jack Hill has spun an impressive list of accomplishments from his decks.
Now, the pint-sized schoolboy – who had to stand on a box to reach the equipment when he began helping his dad DJ aged three – has managed to notch up his fifth world record. Despite suffering a b
roken hand, Jack mixed 10 songs in just one minute.
He became the youngest-ever disc jockey to achieve the feat just five weeks after a car ran over his right hand. The boy, from Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, who even has his own radio show, was over the moon with his achievement. He said, "It was fun making a new world record – I have missed DJing and its nice to be back playing songs. "I wasn't nervous because the mix is quite difficult and you only have six seconds per song to cue sync and mix, so I didn't even have time to get nervous."
The youngster has his own full-sized decks and mixer. Now he runs discos on Saturday night and hopes to make it big in the music industry.
