Bobby Brown Writes Biopic, Wants Bobbi Kristina To Act In It
Bobby Brown has written a script, along with filmmaker Michael A. Pinckney, for a film about his life. The script, entitled 'The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story', is a classic tale of the R&B sensation's meteoric rise from humble beginnings in Boston to the top of the R&B and Pop charts.
His struggle with drugs, alcohol, women and a troubled marriage is a rocky journey and an inspirational one. One of hope, redemption and the power of the human spirit. The film exposes Bobby's darker side and puts his private demons on public display. There is also word, Bobby wants his daughter, Bobbi Kristina to act in it.
The script was penned by Bobby Brown and Black Noise Media’s Michael A. Pinckney in 2011. Michael says, ”I was connected to Bobby in 2010 through an actor friend Alfonso Lover, who’s in my other feature film. He expressed to me that Bobby was interested in having a movie written about his life. We talked and decided his life would make an amazing film. Like the movie Ray but for my generation. Bobby can finally tell his story.”
