The singer is due to start filming scenes for fly-on-the-wall ITV2 documentary The Next Chapter in the next three weeks. But insiders say he's reluctant to start work with the two sides at war.

ITV is now privately panicking that one of its highest-rating digital channel shows may end up being delayed or even SCRAPPED.

But the bust-up between the former joint-owners of the firm that makes the show has thrown a spanner in the works. Pete's high-profile manager Claire Powell gave up control of Can Associates' TV arm after splitting with business partner and former fella Neville Hendricks.
He took over Can Associates TV, leaving Ms Powell to run its sister firm Can Associates.
Insiders say Peter, 38, does not want to start filming with the two sides still locked in their six-week battle.
A source said: "There is some bad blood between the people who ran Can and it's affecting what happens with Pete's series.
"It's causing ITV all sorts of headaches, but they keep pointing to the contract saying they're obliged to turn in a show for autumn.

"No one knows how it will end - it's a stressful time." Last night all parties were confident they could sort things out.
An ITV spokesman said: "We expect the series to air this autumn."
A spokesman for Peter said: "Filming will start in August."

  • DESPERATE Housewives narrator Mary Alice Young - who killed herself in the first episode - will appear in flashbacks in the next series. Actress Brenda Strong's character has narrated from beyond the grave. She said: "Flashbacks will provide some new Young family information."
